HEXFILED

Literary Magazine  ·  SF & Speculative Fiction

Where organic intuition meets the precision of the grid. Stories that live in the seam between the biological and the artificial, the ancient and the not-yet-imagined.

Issue 01 submissions are open

HEXFILED is a brand new magazine and we are building our first issue from scratch. We are currently reading submissions for Issue 01 and are excited to discover the stories that will define what this magazine becomes.

If you write science fiction or speculative fiction that lives at the boundary between the organic and the engineered — we want to read your work.

Science fiction at the edge of the possible

HEXFILED publishes short fiction, novelettes, flash, and poetry that grapples with the porous boundary between the natural and the engineered. We are drawn to work that asks hard questions without easy answers—stories that leave a residue.

We read widely and aim to publish new voices alongside established writers. If your story lives in the seam between two worlds, we want to read it.
